Romans get the beers in

We’re hella pumped to win the BrewDog account.

Here’s what PRWeek said:

BrewDog switches PR account from Manifest to The Romans

The brand has been a prominent player in the huge rise in interest in craft beer in recent years. In 2010 BrewDog had 39 staff – this had increased to 358 last year, and in the same four-year period its output increased sixfold to reach nine million litres in 2014.The Romans will now be responsible for media relations, stunts, bar openings, beer launches and BrewDog’s Equity For Punks crowdfunding programme.New bar launches are planned in the UK and across Europe, with openings in Rome, Brussels and Stockholm later this year.

James Watt, co-founder at BrewDog, said: “We’re psyched to be working with The Romans; their ideas put mischievous smiles on our faces. We’re already plotting some epic bar launches, insane Equity for Punks activity and unprecedented beer announcements – watch this space.”

Joe Sinclair and Misha Dhanak, founders of The Romans, added: “The BrewDog guys make incredible beer that we love as well as having a serious track record of genuinely disruptive work. We’re looking forward to never having to float a giant bottle of Punk IPA down the Thames.”
